Hong Kong Education City Limited (EdCity) is a wholly-owned company of the Government of HKSAR. Our portal, EdCity.hk, is a one-stop professional educational portal in Hong Kong which incorporates information, resources, interactive communities and online services, and promotes the use of information technology (I.T.) in improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning. We are now looking for a high caliber professional to join our dynamic team in the following position.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage and execute learning and teaching programmes to promote eLearning in education and the application of AI technology for schools, teachers, students and parents;
- Develop detailed project plans for executing and monitoring projects and services implementation;
- Coordinate with Tech team to develop and maintain online platforms of the e-Learning Programme;
- Maintain and manage the user database, ensuring accuracy and integrity of user information;
- Liaise and work closely with government departments, educational institutions, organisations, schools and community groups and business partners on projects;
- Take up ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning, execution, business development, etc, preferably in the education, eLearning or IT industry;
- Experience in developing EdTech related contents and managing online platforms;
- Familiarity with the local education landscape and EdTech industry in Hong Kong and the surrounding region;
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and develop effective promotion strategies;
- Mature, self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach;
- Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English. Proficiency in spoken Mandarin will be an advantage;
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Project Officer.
